-1 for attempt at humor. That sketch doesn’t remotely resemble Lenny Kravitz.

I work in downtown Decatur, live in East Lake and hang out quite a bit in Oakhurst. From my vantage point, DPD is EVERYWHERE, almost to the point of seeming overbearing.

I think these latest incidents are more examples of exceedingly brazen criminals.

“these guy” 1 or 2? Picky BUT smart @$$ guy is bait.

Carjackings can happen anywhere. Do you shop at Lenox? There. What about Publix? There. Or The Tabernacle for a show? There. ITP or OTP? There.

Just like everyone else I want to feel safe, to have confidence in my police department to be proactive. Crime is opportunistic and this guy saw a right scenario and jumped on it.

We have choices – publicize the crime to catch the perp; keep it quiet to protect our city image. I say catch the perp.
