I think it’s sort of preserving the workers huts along with the pyramid sort of thing. Of course preserving nothing that gets in a developers way is the preferred course especially if they’re related to you or can pay you enough.

BTW Delirious New York is one of the best popular books on architecture I’ve ever read.
