I’ll be there with my pottery, You will see lots of tents around the James Joyce pub and the surrounding area, you shouldn’t have an trouble finding the event or the vendors.
The hours are Sat 11am – midnight the vendors will shut down around 6pm unless they want to stay open later. Sunday noon until 6pm.
It’s always a good time.

It will be obvious – just head north (towards the tracks) from College/N. Avondale in the area around James Joyce and you won’t be able to miss it. This is more of a neighborhood arts fest in the nature of the Va-Hi or Inman Park festivals than the last RAD event was. Like those, it will be booths set up along the streets and in parking lots. The only difference is that it is in a less residential area of Avondale Estates. They did make it earlier to reduce the swelter (Jeff was right about that being a problem last year!).

The last rail arts event was confusing with some vendors in out of the way places, but maps were passed out. For this one, artist check in is on Olive St., near the Waffle House, address to google is given as 2846 Franklin, Avondale Est., 30002. Imagine there will be maps if it is not obvious.
Music goes until midnight on Saturday.
(and no, I’m not a vendor, am just trying to figure out where to go for this one since again it is not obvious.)

Yeah, the road behind James Joyce, which runs parallel to E. College is the main festival strip, The side streets and various parking lots in the area also have some action. I went last year and it was a lot of fun. Hopefully this year will be less sweltering.

According to the website I went to, it looks like it is located near the intersection of Franklin and Locust – right behind the James Joyce Irish Pub. Judging by the music lineup it starts on Saturday at 11 am and runs all day. Looks like it concludes a bit earlier on Sunday evening. Looks like fun.
