I know you’re talking about the contents (hopefully just water?) of some of the containers, but with the ambiguity in the language and the fact that the items themselves can spill out of the bins, I can’t help but smile at the image:
“I spilled newspapers on my jeans and now look at them!”

What’s the IB rubric for Sending-Home-Report-Cards? We need to know the scale, criteria, and performance standards. I believe that the scale is 1-7 with 1 being “No demonstration of an understanding of how to report out 100% of grades to all students” and 7 being “Shows complete understanding of how to report out grades with 100% of DHS students receiving 100% of their grades on mailed report cards. I believe that DHS currently rates a 4: “Demonstrates progress in reporting out IB gradesby providing at least 90% of students with grades for at least 90% of their subjects”. Hopefully the new bell schedule will allow DHS to get adequate inquiry-based instruction and support in this particular standard so that the next evidence-based summative assessment (aka next report card mailing) shows an IB grade of at least 5 or 6 which will be converted to a percentage of 72% or 87% when it is reported out for the Dept. of Education calculations for Hope scholarships.

Couldn’t agree with you more. Those people who smoke a joint in their home at the end of a stressful day, while you are relaxing with your glass of wine, should be thrown in jail immediately!!
