Thank you to Tom, OHM, and all . You can see Joey most days scrubbing the floors or painting the walls at 252. Anyone who wants to catch a glimpse of "the World's tallest bicycle Mechanic", can do so almost every day.

We are excited that he was victorious at the State Cyclocross Championships last week in Rome. We feel lucky to have him.

We look forward to making the acquaintance of all in the coming days / months.

Welcome, Mike and Dave. Glad to see you are moving your business to Decatur and wish you the best success.

I have raced with Joey for a couple of seasons at Dick Lane Velodrome. He has phenomenal talent. Looking forward to seeing him more often in the store.

Hello to all! I'm Dave, the owner (well, one of them) of Tri Your Best / Decatur bikes.

I grew up in Decatur. My family used to live where Smith Hardware is now, but moved around the corner to Derrydown Way in 1960, where I lived until 1985, when I graduated from Ga State and went into the Army. We came back to Decatur in 1992 for my wife to go to Emory for her Medical degree, and we even bought a couple of bikes from Bicycle South! I believe I've spent about $2500 there myself!

The town looks quite different from the days when I visited my Pediatrician, Dr. Taylor, next door to where Dancing goats is now, or when I took swim lessions back in 1966 -68 or played baseball for the Jacksonville Suns in 1970 down at Glenlake Park. Both my mother and I used to sing in the Decatur Civic Chorus. My father was the President of the Masons in Decatur for many years.

I love what Decatur has done tranforming itself over the last 25 years, and only regret that I was not in a position to have pitched in to help. I hoped we could have helped Tucker and Stone Mountain do something similar, but our location there made it difficult to do much more than simply survive there.

We feel that with the sport of triathlon growing exponentially, Atlanta needs, first and foremost, more options for triathlon gear and advice, and we feel that Decatur gives us the best opportunity to offer that.

We believe heavily in Community, and are trying to tailor our inventory selection to bring Decatur and all of Atlanta things that they cant get other places. Our goal is not to bring strife or to push someone else out of their business, which is why we are dropping our running shoe inventory as we move from our Stone Mountain location.

We hope to blend in to this city and help introduce more of Atlanta to the jewel that you have created, which should help all of us prosper!

We offer a triathlon club, currently 38 members strong, which swims at Mercer University. We will be offering bicycle and fitness clinics, as well as open water swims at Lake Lanier. Please stop by and say hello as we work feverously to complete 252 W. Ponce into our new home!
