Instead of reading this as though it means “Beer, Hurray!”, I keep pronouncing it my head as a-lay yay-ah, as though it is a Biblical or Middle Eastern term like Yaweh or Al Queda or Allah or Ali. I think it’s because it’s not alliterative and one has to put a distinct pause between the “Ale” and the “Yeah”.
