What kind of wreaths does WP sell? Is there garland by the foot/yard? We usually go to Pike because they have nice trees plus all sizes of the mixed wreaths and garland, but it would be nice to stay in the neighborhood and support the school that, according to any of the three proposed attendance maps, will be ours next year!

Great - thanks for asking. Baby Nubbs is a pretty good baby - I got super lucky.

Oh, even better if Winnona Park sale is Saturday - we should be able to make it. Friday morning was going to be rough as it would be just me and the baby trying to get the tree home. Hubbs can help on Saturday. Yippee!!

I'm a great fan of Winnona Park's trees and I've bought many a great tree there. Plus the friendly parent atmosphere is great. However, I have to also give a plug to First Christian Church only because they will also deliver and put the tree in your stand. There are times when that added feature tips the scale. While the kids thrill to the site of a tree on top of a minivan, it gets old....

I've sung their praises before, but we've gotten our trees at Winnona Park for three years running and they're some of the fullest, freshest Christmas trees I've ever had. It's not unusual for us to keep our tree up through the end of January and even after almost two months these are still green, supple, and holding their needles. Last year it was still drawing water. Crazy.

Prices are very reasonable too. You'll pay less at Lowes or Home Depot, of course, but you'll also be getting a tree that was cut ages ago and the money goes into corporate coffers rather than to a good cause.
