The festival will be fabulous this year: we have a National Book Award winner, Pulitzer Prize winners, a Nobel Laureate. Yikes! What an event. On the local end I was surprised and delighted that several Decatur businesses opted to join as exhibitors. The Cookie Studio (nom, nom) will be there and Progressive Methods (aka typewriters.com.) Apparently they are the go to place on the world wide web for vintage typewriters. Who knew? They’ve requested an electrical hook-up so I’m guessing the old Selectrics will be whirring. Agnes Scott College will have a big presence as a sponsor and local faves Mary Jane Mahan and Melissa Walker have taken booths. That’s off the top of my head, we have more than 150 exhibitors, many from Decatur and Atlanta but also from far beyond. it’s going to be a great time.
