At a board meeting, we were informed that Dr. Edwards had not filled at least one assistant superintendent position that was vacant for fiscal reasons. I do think they are trying to be fiscally responsible and, if we are honest, we are a community that thrives on (demands) communication and responsiveness from the administration. I think Bruce will be very necessary as we move through construction and redistricting.

Actually, it would pay the salary of at least 4 parapro’s and benefits, one for each elementary school. Everyone loves Mr. Roaden and is happy for him to have a promotion. But that doesn’t mean that we all love the idea of another Central Admin position, unless that position resulted in the subtraction of an equally expensive position. Maybe it did.

$100K plus benefits would pay for three parapros plus benefits, no? I also think it’s strange to have a whole position cut out for this in such a small system. I hear Mr. Roaden is great though.

Do we really need someone else to “communicate” for our schools. How about the BOE or super! Just another wasted 100,000 + salary in hard times
