This is what I thought the Botanical Gardens’ canopy walk was going to be like, instead of all the hulking cement that ruins that “attraction” for me.

DM’s rules for Eye on the Street: “The idea behind the series is to show interesting everyday scenes in the Decatur/Atlanta area.” Whether the scene is interesting is debatable but the Decatur/Atlanta area is not. This is a charming bridge and I find that its scale helps me to appreciate the beauty of engineering.

There are indeed parts of Emory, such as the Clairmont campus, that are in Decatur.

My Decatur son loves to fish in the Lullwater Park lake. Some big Bass in there!
