How can anyone choose just 20? Of course, not every single one of them are unethical, but it’s got to be pretty close.

Hey, it could happen (heaven forfend). I remember how Sonny appeared virtually from nowhere 8 years ago, got the nomination & won– just because he wasn’t the other candidate, rather than the fact that he was better qualified. Someone told me that there’s a website that lists the top 20 most unethical politicians, and Deal was #15. *sigh* Can we really do no better than recycling the rejects? I’m just tired of the whole thing already!

All I know is, if Nathan Deal gets the nomination and *gulp* becomes governor, we are all doomed.

Hard to see how Palin’s endorsement helped Handel that much. Oxendine was already fading. Remember that Palin’s own poll numbers are abysmal (mid-20s) and she is especially disliked by women. If it was such a powerful endorsement why did Handel only get 33% of the vote?

More likely as DailyKos points out, is Handel’s U-turn and rightward lurch on her previous position endorsing gay adoption and domestic partner rights:
