Mrs. Robbie participated in the Ladies Rock Camp earlier this year and had an incredible experience. To get up on stage and jam with your band – who hasn’t dreamnt of that? While I don’t think she’ll be going out on tour anytime soon, it was still neat to see that dream come true (even if it was only for one song).

Definitely a worthy fundraiser for a unique organization.

It was definitely the highlight of Brenna’s summer. They will be doing another Ladies Rock Camp in the fall to raise funds – sign up for their emails at http://www.girlsrockcampatl.org/ . I can’t say enough nice things about the board of directors and ladies who run this amazing project.

Thanks Nathan–your daughter was great too! I think Drop Dead Diamondz and September Chase were my favorite bands! What a great experience for them. It was surreal.

Was that your daughter who was such a star on the electric guitar? She was hilarious – I loved it.

Also, I think it was Sydney (lead singer in first band) who blew me away.

this is my second year volunteering with this awesome camp. it was a great night for the kids and the grown-ups!

There were other Decatur girls there too: McCall Pitts, Brenna Hilby, my own daughter Mackenzie Kandetzki, and several others! The showcase at the Variety Playhouse was AWESOME!
