What do you expect from our Republican overlords? They despise anything to do with the part of Georgia that lies inside the Perimeter. I have never seen the GOP duck an opportunity to screw over cities like Atlanta and Decatur. Whether it’s public transportation, hospitals or funding for sewers, the State simply isn’t going to invest in its capital region. Other cities get their needs funded, but not ITP.

MARTA will never get funding from the state as long as the Republican party is in charge.
