They usually don’t Grand Jury your butt unless there’s some evidence and from the looks of the indictment there’s a bunch. Prosecutors hate to look stupid.
Wouldn’t be surprised if everybody copped a plea and whoever could torpedo the most of the others would get the least time.

Anyway you look at it the kids really took it on the chin from these clowns.
How much of the money that went to line their pockets could have gone towards a better education for Dekalb kids.
I think they should be forced to work as janitors at the schools until they pay every dime back.
Sad.

I have met Lewis only once over the past thirty something years in the education biz but I have followed his career. During all that time, I have never heard anything bad about him until now. Even the DeKalb Republicans, at their Saturday breakfast meetings, spoke very highly of him. There is something not quite right about this. Maybe I will change my mind as more details come out but for right now, I want to believe that he is innocent until proven guilty.

It’s not hard to understand the “don’t commit fraud” rule. Based on the allegations, some people just don’t want to follow it.
