I enjoyed occasionally walking down there on Saturday mornings, and I hope they do well this year. I think they are considering moving it to Sunday evenings because Saturdays are becoming crowded (ahem – Decatur Farmer’s Market’s new Saturday hours), although I’m not sure where that proposal stands.

I hope they are able to secure more vendors this year, as a lot of folks I’ve talked to were turned off by the very small size of it. They tried it once or twice but didn’t become regulars because there wasn’t enough stuff to keep them coming.

I do appreciate the hard work of everyone involved to get it started and keep it going!

You can’t beat walking a few blocks on a Saturday morning to fill your basket with just-picked fruits and vegetables. Plus a chance to chat with the folks who grew ‘em.
