Dear Representatives,
I am a Decatur High School student. I submited this comment in hopes of convincing you to vote "yes" in regards to House Bill number 698 which talks about genetically modified foods being served in school cafeterias. I think that it is unfair to the students that eat the lunch at school to be served unhealthy foods that have growth hormones and other toxines in them. Sure they can bring their lunch but some of them don't have the time or they don'thave the resources. A lot of the students don't know what's in their food which makes it even worse because they don't know that they're being unhealthy. Even if you have to modify the bill to accomidate the state budget it would still be appreciated. Food is almost directly associated to mood as well, if you eat healthy food it more likely that you will be happier and do better in school than you would if you were eating unhealthy food. Thank you for reading.

Sincerely,
