Thinking driving just a tad bit further out to the location near Northlake will simply be easier from a parking standpoint. Doubt we’ll go to the Decatur location.

I went there recently for a pediatric appointment and was very disappointed with the wait. We had to wait forever to get into a room, then again to actually see the doctor, and then again to get shots. We didn’t leave until 2.5 hours after our scheduled appointment time, which is extremely stressful with a small child. I’m chalking it up to grand opening disorganization and keeping my fingers crossed that they get it together before our next appointment. Hope others have had better experiences.

Also, a tip for those with upcoming appointments – the receptionist will validate parking in the Artisan parking garage. It’s not really advertised on the garage entrance or on the KP office windows. We originally parked at a meter but ended up having to move the car to the garage due to the loooooong wait.

I’m glad to see they have donated to DEF for the farm-to-school program!

What should be their most important face to the community (their front window) is in fact their closet. While I can appreciate the metaphors of open closets and Decatur, it just seems lazy and disrespectful to the community. Put a window display of some sort in there… mannequins demonstrating the use of birth control products or a countdown clock of the number of uninsured people in the country… anything but an empty closet with a lonely wheelchair. I can’t imagine this treatment even in a stripmall.
