Check out:http://www.openstreetmap.orgOur neighbors, at least the "map geeky" ones, have done a great job putting local knowledge in this global, wikipedia style map. You can add to it too.

My favorite is the one that we created ourselves. Check out:

<a

The march will coincide with the 37th anniversary of the Supreme Court's decision to legalize abortion throughout the United States. Since Decatur seems to be the epicenter of the anti-war movement, it only seems natural that we would send a large group to support an end to the war against the unborn. I plan to be there with a sign that says, "The City of Decatur Supports Life".
This will be a wonderful way to end our weeklong celebration of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King's life. More information can be found at http://www.grtl.org/eventschedule.asp
Please join me this Friday for this worthy endeavor.

The “Together for Life” march will take place this Friday at 11:30 in downtown Atlanta. I'm as much motivated by not wanting to waste some of the beautiful books I have but that I can't store in my space-limited intown home as I am by a desire to get reasonably priced books. I have often left already-read paperbacks in lobbies, motel rooms, poolside, etc. in the desperate hope that someone with similar tastes would enjoy them. When I donate them to the Salvation Army etc., I'm never sure that they are actually recirculated to someone who would appreciate them.

Thank you so much for this! It is really easy if you just up a postage account with the club. You can trade hardbacks, paperbacks and audiobooks. You can set up a wish list for titles, even those not yet on the shelves as long as you have the title and author!

Speaking of plugs, old books and reading:

I love <a
