So, do trees left on the side of the road get recycled or not? We have yard waste curbside pickup as well every week that i assume gets turned into mulch.

If curbside tree pickup gets the recycled mulch treatment, what's the point of driving to Agnes Scott or Home Depot?

Our tree continues to suck water like a sponge and is as green as the day we got it. Feels wasteful to toss it out (especially in these shortest and coldest of days), so we'll probably keep it though most of January, like we always do. Plus, my wife's birthday is on the Epiphany, so we use it to celebrate that as well.

The idea of folding up Christmas before Twelfth Night/Epiphany/King's Day is humorous to me. I imagine the three kings showing up and there being no indication left of what actually happened. So they're just kind of wandering around asking, "Um...Have you perchance seen a baby around? He may or may not have been glowing. Also, farm animals."
