Atlanta Pride Back at Piedmont Park This Weekend

Atlanta Pride is this weekend, Oct. 31-Nov.1. It was moved to October this year because of restrictions at Piedmont Park during the summer due to the drought.

To make this a Decatur-related event, I’m enclosing a picture of the Digging Dykes of Decatur garden club from the 2007 Pride parade. Come out and support your many gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered neighbors (of which there are many in Decatur)!

    Wouldn’t it be nice if “Decatur’s” Digging Dykes participated in Decatur parades??

      I hope the quotations around “Decatur’s” doesn’t mean this is sarcastic rather than sincere.

    I think sightseer is saying that given that the DD of D are local (hence the emphasis on the word Decatur) that we should see them in more Decatur parades/events and not just at Pride.
