As a memory for this man who has been so vitally involved with Holy Trinity we are dedicating our garden arbor in his name. Contributions for the George Tyrones Garden Gateway can be made out to HTPP and mailed to the church, 515 E. Ponce de Leon Avenue, Decatur Georgia 30030; Attention: Kay Watkins. Frank Burdette, Flora Jane’s father, will build the arbor for us. Any remaining funds will be applied to scholarship funds also in George's name.Thanks to all of parents for your love and prayers during the difficult time. We got a note in our son's folder last week saying that the parent of kindergartener had been killed, and they also included a page about how to talk to your children about death and an offer to the school's guidance staff if you thought it would be helpful.
