He’s apparently a wonderful teacher and he’s very approachable. You might be suprised at his level of involvement. He’s not really one for half-heartedness… Anyway, I’m optimistic despite his demanding schedule.

I’m skeptical about these kinds of vanity appointments. Bring Rushdie to campus to talk, same with Alice Walker… But these “appointments” are pretty dubious in most cases.
