I know you’re tongue in cheek but I’d wait the couple of months until the vaccine comes out.. Those pesky complications and superinfections might ruin your schedule.

You’re better off eating well, exercising, getting plenty of sleep, maybe taking a vitamin, and not freaking out about germs so that you build up natural immunity to things–then you can probably avoid getting it at all. In my family, we routinely eat off the floor, and my kids usually get perfect attendance every year.

Thanks for explaining the situation Emory Student. If I am going to get this flu, I would like to get it now. I am not very busy with work, and am afraid if I get it in a few weeks, I will have lots of work piled up on my desk….If possible, can I go hang out in the dorm so I can check H1N1 off my list for the year?

I probably sound like I am kidding and making light of the situation…trust me, I am not. I would just rather be able to plan when I am going to be out of work than have this thing sneak up on me when I am busy and supposed to be traveling…so the sooner the better….
