If we had better treehouse control laws, then criminials like they couldn’t have such easy access to them.

Unfortunately, under today’s laws, anybody who wants a treehouse can get one. There isn’t even a background check. Even common sense regulation gets nowhere with our legislative bodies bought and paid for by the infamous NTA (National Treehouse Association).

And don’t give me that whole ‘it’s protected by the constitution’ baloney. It’s a fact that children who live in homes with treehouses are 10x more likely to have treehouse related injuries than those without treehouses. The whole thing is just ridiculous.

In my case, I’m still giggling that he might have hid in a treehouse. Although the fact that he might have had a gun there is sobering.

I’m confused. Are we upset at the perp for running, the police for pursuing or are we so naive that we are shocked at the idea that many of the thugs out there are armed?
