I look at it this way! The coffee just keeps getting better there! Unfortunately, the Powerball grease trap problem still exists. On certain days, you just don’t want to be indoors there, and I really feel for the baristas that have to put up with that funk all day.

I haven’t been to Octane on the westside, but I understand they serve beer and/or wine there – anyone know if they will do the same at Emory Village? Could make it a bigger draw and give them something Starbucks doesn’t have.

Method really should be applauded for providing excellent coffee, and I am really sad to see it go, but if it’s got to go… at least Octane is there to save me.

On certain days, you just don’t want to be indoors there, and I really feel for the baristas that have to put up with that funk all day (though they say they adapt to the odor). Octane has indicated that some of the Method staff will remain, as well as some of the menu items. They are aiming to open this month.
