What about Dekalb Counties rate that the “City” folks have to pay is it going to be “10.41” millage rate? If you add all these up you get (13.035 + 18.90 + 10.41) 42.385 Millage”. That sound very exciting compared to what Dekalb people might pay which is (17.137 (Dekalb Uncorp) + 22.98 (Dekalb Schools) ) 40.117. Then there is the easy factor take a 200,000. Dekalb UniCorp may pay with HE1 2461.42 where as the “City of Decatur” residence may pay 3511.51. The difference being for a “city of Decatur” residence to pay an extra 1050.08. If you have kids this sound great. If you do not have kids you need to get some.
