Is this tongue-in-cheek? The police sketch showed only head views. The descriptions were that one had green plaid shorts and the other had a white tank top on. You saw torso-less perps or one topless and one bottomless perp?

If serious, did you let the police know? Perps who hang around or live in Decatur are more worrisome than perps who come in, commit a crime, and then leave for other pastures.

Sad thing is I’ve seen the perps walking around near Commerce and Howard close to the projects last Tuesday night. They were still wearing the same outfits as when they committed the crimes.

You guys are kind of making me queasy with this cloying exhbition of a group hug… If I didn’t know better, I’d say that Eric has not only baited the liberals, but has succesfully set the hook and reeled you two in. And, now you’re both floppin around in the bottom of the boat confusing diminshing consiousness with some kind of banal camaraderie.

Thank you, GAK! I really appreciate the compliment. I admit to getting carried away on some of the other posts, so I’m trying to put more thought and less emotion in my comments. Getting other people’s hackles up serves no one.

Sometimes I feel like a lone voice in the woods, with being a right-leaning moderate (but definitely NOT a Rush Limbaugh conservative) in a sea of liberalism, but you know what? That’s OK. We can still cheerfully, and without rancor, disagree on some things.

I look forward to further discussion on future posts.

P.S. Take it easy on W. Gibbets. He and I have become friends.
