The carbon dioxide gas released displaces oxygen so you need to keep air movement around any container with dry ice in it. Always handle dry ice with thick gloves as well to avoid burns.

Seriously, it is interesting (criminal?) that our state legislators approved tax payers paying UPFRONT for nuclear power plants that MAY be built in the future. We could have used about half that money to put powerlines underground. Power probs. not related to down lines are few and far between, IMO.
