They were shooting (or at least staging, storing LOTS of equipment) last night in downtown Decatur on the strip between J. Christopher’s and Noodle.

I wonder how much of the refurb will be left? Maybe that was the deal they made with the owners, to make it all nice in exchange for permission to shoot there.

Can’t for the life of me figure out how they settled on that particular station. Weird. But cool.

The production moved to Morrow today and tomorrow. It will continue to move around for the next six weeks or so.

They actually completely refurnished the station inside and out. I was in the shoot as an extra. No zombies in the scenes shot in Decatur. This was apparently before the “zombie apocalypse”. Fun shoot, though. I was on set with a genu-wine Oscar nominee (Abby Breslin).
BTW, zombies are already well represented in the city council. : )
