At 5 am I figured I may was well head into work. Champion Newspaper office is two blocks from TT. Figured might as well take advantage of the 2 for $2.50 bacon egg and cheese biscuit and Micky D’s. Came over the hill saw the lights, smoke. Just so happened I had my press badge and my digital camera that shoots video. Got there about 5:30 and a guy ran passed me. It wasn’t until later that day I realized the guy, was Al the owner. Sleep deprivation-meets hunger-meets dumb luck-meets tragedy. Got video from DePaux side, we never posted it. Sorry for your loss. Never been inside TT, but apparently it was quite the institution.
