I used Onyx to put a new battery in my iPod Nano a while back. The Apple store won’t do this repair anymore. Onyx was great and completed the battery while I waited!

Long time reader, first time commenter.

Timely post as my husband just used Onyx to repair the screen on his out-of-warranty 6-year-old MacBook Pro. I can’t say enough about how great they were – prompt service, honest advice, and seamless repair. We are a Mac household and, while I hope we don’t have to use them again, we definitely won’t hesitate to do so if the need arises.

That’s great news. I have also gone to them on one of those rare occasions over the past 15 years when I had a Mac problem. Referred to them by the Apple store for an out of warranty hard drive replacement. I was pleased both with the Apple store for suggesting them so that I could get more hard drive for the same price and with the Onyx guys for a quick turn-around at reasonable cost.

I have been in several time to the new Decatur location. They are great! It’s wonderful not to have to navigate the Lenox hell for Mac repairs.

I used the Decatur Onyx when I had a problem with my (under Apple Care warranty) MacBook a few months ago. Turned out the problem was my battery (which Apple normally would not cover). The nice people at Onyx got Apple to cover it under warranty and had my machine back to me very quickly. They are great, I highly recommend them!
