One's position on the war is irrelevant to the respect and care that should be afforded those answering the call and bearing the burden.There was a story about PTSD on NPR this morning that mentioned that the same condition during Civil War times was referred to as "Soldier's Heart." I think we should start using that term again. Such an evocative and non-clinical description is much more effective at reminding us of the human cost. Perfectly put, DM.
