I don;t know why they got rid of them.

Agnes Scott used to have goats to eat the vegetation around their retaining pool. We loved to go visit them. Let's see, you feed a farm animal a high-fiber diet of Kudzu. What do you think the result will be? Are they going to install little goat-sized composting porta- potties? No, it will wash down into the creek. Along with their commonly-carried goodies like giardia and cryptosporidium. But wait! Maybe we can hit 'em with some antibiotics (or whatever works) before putting them to work-- so those can end up in the creeks too!My vote is for Roundup. At least we know it works and is rendered inactive once it hits soil. And the sooner the better-- while we still have some trees left there.

Can someone explain to me how goats will be more “environmentaly friendly”?
