It is too kid friendly. From the times I have been there from what I can tell, parents use this place as an excuse to get drunk and let their kids run around uncontrollably. Get a baby sitter!

Last week, sitting on the deck, I observed a full scale touch football game break loose on the lawn. With the parents leading the cheers while younger kids were beating up even younger kids while their parents just looked on.

They need to get this under control, quick, or they are going to lose a great portion of their business who doesn't want to babysit other parents kids when they are trying to have a night out.

I just have to comment on this. Decatur is very kid friendly. Its alway surprising to me when people are upset that a place is kid friendly. I am not saying its ok to let your kids run wild but I can only think of a few places in town that I would not bring my kids. A Mexican restaurant is not on that list. Even the U Joint in Oakhurst had to finally get a kids menu. I remember long ago when Billy Goat Catina (named something else now) opened and they had no high chairs and ended up borrowing from MoJos Pizza. I dont think they wanted to cater to families but they ended up having to. I just dont think you can go anywhere here and not expect to see kids.

I do expect parents to try to keep kids under control but if there is a yard and its safe, why not let them run around and burn some energy off.

El Tesoro is the one place that "kids gone wild" don't actually bother us. Consider: 1. The front lawn-- just let 'em go! 2. The left (north) side of the porch has only 2-tops and thus is the perfect adult section.

Unfortunately, just about every other restaurant has the potential for providing a "bad kid night". We even had one at Seegers.
