		<description><![CDATA[Glad you found the before and after shots interesting.  We have an entire file of these photos.  Made me realize that we need to go back and add dates to these photos to put them in context.  The aerial of the MARTA construction goes back to the late 1970s when the original station was being built.  The one of the plaza showing that lovely concrete elevator shaft that once stood outside the entrance to Birdie&#039;s dates back to the early 1990s.  Most of the before shots of the retail storefronts date back to the mid 1980s.]]></description>
