I’ve said this whole bar closing hours thing was a huge overreaction from the start, and I’d much rather use existing methods of enforcement to cut down on “problems” than use some silly knee-jerk legislation.

I guess my tone was a bit too terse in the posting to convey my approval, but my main goal was to point out this alternative approach that’s being taken. That and to make fun of the term “Operation: Hammer Time” one more time.
