Decatur Participating in National Drug Take-Back Day on April 27th

The City of Decatur Police Department is participating in another Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) National Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This is a great event for those who missed the previous events or who have accumulated unwanted, unused or expired prescription drugs in order to safely dispose of them.
In the past four Take-Back events, law enforcement agencies across the United States removed more than 2 million pounds (1,018 tons) of prescription medications from circulation.
If you would like to dispose of any unwanted, unused or expired prescription drugs, please bring them to the Decatur Police Department’s Communications Center located at 314-C Church Street between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2013.
