2. I know that this is not the intended focus but the black car is illegally parked – facing the wrong way. Sorry but a pet peeve of mine and people do it all of the time with no regard for the law. Reason it’s illegal is because it’s dangerous. Leaving from that position requires driving the wrong way to cross into the correct lane or making a u turn and the driver is pulling out blinded by their driver seat position at the curb facing the other car….so there!

   1. I’ve seen people post that they got a ticket for parking like that.

   2. I’m actually one of those people who has been ticketed for this (it was on a residential street near Piedmont Park). And it’s how I found out it is against the law. I took my driving test long before I ever encountered this type of parking, so the ticket was my education. There are likely many people who don’t realize the safety concern of crossing oncoming traffic.

   3. Other than the obvious possibility of head-on collision, I don’t see how parking the wrong way is more dangerous than backing out of a driveway. Especially on residential streets. Am I missing something?
