Report: EarthFare Closing Emory Point Location

From Tomorrow’s News Today

Natural foods grocer Earth Fare will soon close two of its Atlanta area stores, after just over three years in business.  The stores, located at the Village at Peachtree Corners shopping center in Peachtree Corners and Emory Point in Atlanta, opened in January and July 2015, respectively.  A third store, located at The Collection at Forsyth, opened in December 2015 and is remaining open for now.

  1. I have a feeling this will happen in the area around Suburban Plaza in the next couple of years. I can’t believe that in addition to the Kroger and the Wal-Mart, we now have (or will soon have) a Sprouts, an Aldi and a Whole Foods. I really don’t understand why we need that many grocery stores. Seems like poor planning. Kroger has stepped up their mailings to me–I get coupons from them almost every day lately. I guess they want to keep my business!

    1. there have been hundreds, if not thousands, of new apartments added in the area. maybe those will be enough to keep most of the new grocers in business for a while.

    2. Not to mention the Publix they want to build on E Ponce at Arcadia and the Shamrock Publix just down the road
