If you’re like us, you’ve been wondering what’s going up in Toco Hills at the intersection of Clairemont and North Druid Hills Road – where the Exxon Station used to be (see above).
Well, apparently Tomorrow’s News Today gave us the skinny back in December…
New Balance and a nail salon are reportedly the two tenants coming to the new development at the corner of Clairmont and North Druid Hills Roads on the site of the former Exxon gas station and convenience store.

A bit sad that no one pointed out that I spelled Clairmont incorrectly in the post title.
Now wait! It IS correct in the title (no “e”), but incorrect in the story.
Given that we can’t even decide how we want to spell it within our fair city (See: Clairemont Elementary just off Clairmont Road), you can be forgiven for the slip.
For what it’s worth, Clairemont Elementary is just off Clairemont Road. The spelling variations are basically an in-the-city, out-of-the-city thing.
Scott is correct, except inside the City it’s Clairemont Avenue.
Now my feet will be spiffy when I buy doujinshi at the Book Nook.
