I hope everyone has a safe and happy Labor Day weekend! Also, Roll Tide. 😉
Any one know what caused the power outage around 9:40 am on the north side of decatur?
Loud noise, power outage, followed by sirens. Anyone know what’s going on? Hope everyone is OK.
My wife reported fire trucks at the intersection of Scott and Clairemont shortly thereafter. May have been an accident.
Someone stole our 2010 gray Mazda 3 overnight. If you see one abandoned anywhere around, please call City of Decatur Police.
Location?
Car was stolen about a block from Westchester Elementary. Could be anywhere now. Gray 2010 Mazda 3, 4-door sedan. Parking sticker on back drivers side at bottom.
Our awesome lawn guy has been sidelined for a while. Can anyone recommend someone for basic lawn mowing and weed whacking? High school kids, college kids and others welcome. Do not need a full service company.
My son and friend (8th grade) have a basic yard maintenance biz they call “Yard Times…Lawns, leaves, mulch, and more”. You can text my son Miles at 470.819.9110, but not during school hours (8:40a to 3:40p)
I’d probably end up dropping him off at your house and then picking him up; they walk to the homes in the Nelson Ferry, Pinetree and Parkwoods area since they don’t drive yet.
Thanks Paul. I’ll text your son soon and see if we can find some time for him to come by.
What’s happening at the Bank of America lot, Church, Commerce and Clairmont ? There’s a sign about a public hearing on a density change, etc. in a week or two.
Cant’ tell you what development is proposed but here’s a definition of what Decatur means by Lifecycle Density Bonus Program (I think the Arlo is an example – more units if a percentage are set aside as affordable housing)
