What Should Go Into Large Vacant Retail Space at the Arlo?
Decatur Metro | April 6, 2017 | 10:33 amThis is probably one of the most intriguing, vacant retail locations in the whole COD.
What do you think would work well in this large retail space at the corner of the Arlo along Trinity with soaring ceilings? Basketball venue? Top Golf? Stone Summit? 🙂
(Do you like how I accentuated the height of the space by including a reflection of the sky? That was totally intentional. Yeah…it was.)
they only have one location in Greenwich Village NY, but a Murray’s Bagels in Decatur would be life changing for anyone in town who enjoys gluten
Have never figured out why there’s not a really good bagel place in Decatur. IMHO, they would make a killing. WWAOTSONYCF (while we are on the subject of New York City food), the Decatur Farmer’s Market this morning had a new vendor–Oy Something-or-other–that had the most delicious knishes. They are actually better than what I remember from living in the City! The young owners won’t be back for a month because they are off getting married and honeymooning but don’t miss their knishes when they return!
Savi Provisions, though I actually wish they would come to the Cooks Warehouse spot since it has parking.
Rock Climbing?
Yes, Savi Provisions would be so nice! I’ll take a rock climbing place too.
More cool retail–I’d actually like to see more shops, instead of yet another food/restaurant establishment. Maybe a mini Abba Dabba’s??
A wine store to replace Sherlock’s! (That also sells beer.)
and scotch
Now you’re speaking my language.
An empty pallet?
Mattress Firm FTW
Combination FroYo, Poke, Bike Shop.
…and yoga/barre/zumba
Anything independent/quirky/funky and not boring-generic. A mini Abba Dabba would be heaven!
We loved the arty photo, DM!
A video arcade.
Training center for new hires for City Scools of Decatur.
Schools*. Sorry 🙂
