  1. I recognize this may be unavoidable, but when would be the least busy time to shop at YDFM? Last week? The past few times I’ve tried around Thanksgiving was first thing in the AM, middle of the day and close to closing. Always a mad house.

    1. Yes, a big thank you! I had misplaced Keith F’s “Sweet Potato Heaven” recipe and was very afraid that we’d not have it this year. Thanks for saving Thanksgiving!

  2. It is the general rule of our house that we DO NOT go to the YDFM from the Saturday before Thanksgiving until AFTER Thanksgiving. Beginning that Saturday it becomes way too crazy and packed for our liking.

  3. Wednesday is pick up day for the bird and fixins from Fox Bros around 2:00. Awesome Turkey!!! Reminded to bring the cooler cuz I will still have work to do. The Mrs got a great deal on Bollingers at Toco Hill Package. Sorry Clairemont and Smoke Rise Package. Working. Healthy. House paid for. Had some winners on Election Day. Gracie the Dog loves me. Got a real man cave.
Family, job, turkey, health, freedom… I’m blessed. We all are in our own special way.
    Happy Thanksgiving Decatur Peeps!
