I was pleased to see a couple 6’ers of the ‘Trop in Hop n Shop this weekend. It seems like the shortage of canned product has begun to ease in the last few months. Now if only we could a more reliable stream of Automatic . . .
there was an article on the scarcity in the AJC(?). something to do with the availability of a particular variety of hops that is sourced from australia. apparently they’ve purchased all that is available for the next 5 years or so.
Probably my favorite beer at the moment.
tropicalia is a rare combo of a near-perfect beer and a stunning can design. when i can’t find it, three taverns’ rapturous makes for a wonderful substitute on both fronts.
Well, I guess you know craft beer has crossed over to the mainstream if even the litterers are drinking it. Along those lines, after the lantern parade I saw some bro’s holding up traffic on N. Highland while they plucked cans of Creature Comfort (couldn’t tell exactly which kind) out of their trunk. The honking behind them was epic, and reminded me more of the strip in Panama City than Inman Park.
