  1. Looks like Chik-Fil-A is sinking their claws into beef eating imposters from next door.
    “Eat more chicken…or get booted!”

  2. Thank goodness. I think the bigger problem was people on their way to court stopping for breakfast or lunch and then leaving their cars there and walking across the street.

  3. Thanks Nick. My experience is that the young man in charge of this does everything he can to avoid booting vehicles. I’ve seen him running after violators telling them that they can’t park at CfA and leave for other business. The Decatur CfA is a quality operation. They chase first, boot as the last resort.
PS. The young man is a DHS grad, doing the best that he can.
Isn’t that what we all do???

    1. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at the SunTrust/Chipoltle parking lot. I have never been booted there, but, early one Saturday morning, when none of the businesses were open and almost no cars were in thelot, a friend went to the SunTrust ATM. As she drove away, she heard a cat crying in the adjacent parking deck. She pulled into a parking space and with the booting attendant walked next to the deck to see if she could still hear the cat. They did. She went around into the deck to see if a cat was injured, returning five minutes later. Car booted. While I was trying to persuade the booter to remove the boot (no luck there), another driver entered the parking lot and walked off the premises. I ran after him and shouted that he was going to get booted, but he could not hear me and went around the corner. The booter booted him and called the police on me. The cops came and looked at him and said I did nothing wrong. I have heard of others with bad stories about the booting late at night and early in the morning in that lot when businesses are closed. Let those businesses know what a__h___s they are allowing to boot cars and rip off potential customers.

    2. This has also been my experience. I was meeting my mom there and she was running late, so I put the baby in the stroller and went to walk along the street while I was waiting on her so I could keep the baby happy and get in my steps, and the guy came out and chased after me and didn’t give me any trouble once I told him what was going on.

      1. The difference between a store employee who is motivated to keep unauthorized cars out of the lot, but is going to get paid whether he boots or not (the Chik Fila model) and the booting company who is only motivated to put boots on cars (the Chipotle/Cooks Warehouse model)
