Just when the D’Equator Links was getting traction, buyers fall out of love with golf courses…
Re Most Wanted vs. Most Unwanted lists by era: I’m surprised to not see pool on either list. On the one hand, pools are a sign of luxury and we Americans love our luxuries. On the other hand, they are a ton of work to maintain even if all you are doing is managing the services that you hire to deal with them. Not to mention the safety and liability issues. Maybe pools were excluded from the polls but I don’t see why if golf courses were included.
As soon I learned how hard it is to dust the upper corners of two-story rooms, I lost my taste for them. They can look dingy real quick.
Only the Millenials and the Gen Xrs have laminate countertops on their most unwanted lists. Whoever decided to sell everyone on granite countertops did a good job.
Maybe pools were excluded because the answers would vary by region so much?
I am shocked that people don’t want dual toilets in the master bath. I wonder if a dual toilet is back to back or side by side.
Stacked configuration?
Maybe facing each other, like that awful airplane seating arrangement that circulated around the internets a few months back?
Maybe it’s like the Love Toilet!
