Visit Decatur’s Beautiful New Waterfall!

Rodney sends in this pic from along Commerce Drive near the railroad tracks this morning.

Amicalola, you’ve got nothing on us!

Stay dry out there!  Actually, don’t listen to me. It’s you’re life.  Dance in the rain in your slippers or eat your breakfast out by the mailbox.  It’s just rain after all.  🙂

  1. Stay dry out there and watch the honking Decatur peeps! A little tap to say, “watch out” is one thing, but I heard several long “^%$###***” horns this morning. You don’t know the whole story in the car that you think is doing something wrong. Do they see a pedestrian you don’t see? Did their toddler just throw-up all over the dog who then charged into the front seat and blocked their vision? Perhaps this is the cause of their pause for just a few seconds when you were eager to proceed. And yes, it’s true, perhaps they did choose a less than ideal spot to kick their middle schooler out of the car, but maybe they ALWAYS get in the right line, but today was the day that they are trying to catch a flight to Tokyo to visit their dying grandmother and so just this once they thought they’d drop their kid off on that corner. Your really don’t know, so why land on the horn so hard????

    1. Our family always noticed that Decatur area drivers are some of the most considerate in the metro area, but today seems to be the exception. Sounds more like a romp through Buckhead. Bad weather must bring out the worst in drivers.

    2. Thank you re the honks, sfmaster. I’ll add: the honker punishes not only his intended target but also each of us within earshot.

  2. We got flooding in Chelsea Heights/Westchester…see pictures below.

    1. My kids will be the first ones to say…”let’s go to the new waterfall and get a popsicle from KOP!”

      1. I know they are going to have it their way or nothing at all, but please don’t let them go chasing waterfalls.
