Where’s the diversity, Decatur? 1 black guy, a bunch of white guys, no women!
For whatever reason, the two black women (one City Commission, one School Board) chose not to participate, I guess.
Y’all have officially hit the “Help! Where’s my eyeglasses?! ” stage of life! :0)
School Board Candidate Tasha White participated in the forum. At Large Commission Candidate Tony Powers sent regrets due to a business trip. District 1 Commission Candidate Valencia Breedlove didn’t respond to the DHNA’s invitation.
Folks, the forum is well worth your time to watch or listen to. While the main reason for holding it was to gain better insights into the candidates ahead of voting, some of the questions were also meant to bring public awareness to some concerns that haven’t received much attention.
