I was wondering if you would be able to make a post regarding a lost dog that was just found on Deerwood Drive? It’s young (~4 months) male brindle-colored dog with a pink spot on his nose. Approx. 30 lbs. He was checked for a micro-chip and doesn’t have one. He was found on Deerwood Drive with a black collar and no tags. He is really friendly. I’ve attached two pictures of him.
If you know this pup, send me a note or write your contact info in the comments section and Zack will reach out to you.
Thanks Zack. I’ve admired these dogs over the oast four years during my time as a property manager. You see them alot in south DeKalb. My experience is that when these dogs are loved and become part of the family, they reciprocate ten fold. I’m hoping that the owners are desperately searching for him and this post will reunite dog and master. If not, and the dog was abandon like so many of this breed, maybe someone in Decatur will take a chance and adopt. If so, you will not regret your decision.
I have a bully breed pup I adopted about a year ago. He’s an incredible hound.
“… over the past four years…”
I see that the someone in the vast left wing conspiracy has high-jacked DM’s editing procedure to make us clingers look foolish. I just want to tell you folks that I don’t need your help. I’m already pretty damn good at looking foolish.
Take to another vet. We always check twice. Also the chips can move. They need to scan the dogs whole body. Dogs have been returned home this way
Seems like a lot of work but these things have happened here. Good luck. Also put found dog on local Craig’s list. Don’t put gender make the claimer identify with pictures. We have had owners call and dog returned. Also put up flyers with picture where the dog was found. Owners wi be looking.
