City Schools of Decatur has placed a special session on its school calendar for tomorrow morning at 8:30am with an action item of “Superintendent Search Update”.
Now the AJC is also reporting that there is also another action item of “Superintendent Search Finalist announcement if process is complete.”, but I haven’t found that on the CSD agenda myself. But they note…
Between August 18 and Sept. 16 the board interviewed eight candidates, and Board Chair Garrett Goebel previously said it would announce up to three finalists. But the second action item clearly indicates a single-person announcement.
So I guess we’ll see!
